I’m Daniel Hernández, a mixing and mastering engineer at Analog Vice Studios, based in Bogotá, Colombia. I specialize exclusively in mixing and mastering, with more than 1,000 masters and 400+ mixes delivered for artists and record labels across genres such as hip-hop, house, techno, metal, and hardcore.
I work from two purpose-built rooms: one dedicated to mixing and another designed specifically for mastering, allowing me to focus on accuracy, translation, and consistency. My workflow combines high-end digital tools with analog processing, helping me achieve a sound that is competitive at a world-class level while staying true to the artist’s identity.
My experience in the music industry goes beyond engineering. I’ve worked as a guitarist, DJ, and producer, which gives me a strong musical sensitivity and a deep understanding of rhythm, energy, arrangement, and emotional impact. This background allows me to clearly understand the client’s idea and translate it into a final sound that connects with the listener.
My goal is not just loudness or polish, but clarity, impact, and emotional coherence, delivering mixes and masters that work on streaming platforms, clubs, and professional releases. I value communication, precision, and long-term working relationships.
