NOX LUX is a Czech electronic music duo formed in 2022 in Pilsen by Mats Kedrren and Adams Reitthar. They gained their first major popularity in the mid‑2020s. Their music combines elements of alternative music, ambient, electro, and synth‑pop, making them one of the influential groups within this blend of contemporary electronic music.

NOX LUX was founded in 2022 in the Czech Republic as a collaborative project exploring darker and more atmospheric forms of electronic music. The duo combines elements of dark electronic, industrial, techno, and ambient composition, creating a sound defined by low‑frequency structures, layered textures, and a blend of organic and synthetic components. Before releasing their debut studio album “Paradise of Heaven.” NOX LUX introduced themselves through a series of standalone singles that defined the early phase of their sound. The project debuted in 2023 with the track "Depression", followed later that year by "OBEY" and "Can You Hear Us", which helped establish their darker electronic aesthetic. In 2024 the duo continued to refine their style with "Midnight Pulse", the heavier single "Monster", and the melodic "In Your Eyes". A remix titled "Midnight Pulse (Aveon Remix)" expanded the reach of the original track, followed by additional pre‑album releases including "Lonely Night", "Heartless", and "Own the Darkness", all of which contributed to shaping the sonic direction later presented on “Paradise of Heaven.” On August 15, 2025, Mats Kedrren released his first official remix of NOX LUX’s unique track “Paradise of Heaven (Remix).”
