Interview with voxmind music
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’m especially proud of a project where I transformed a classic vocal into a modern electronic track. I handled the full process — arrangement, sound design, and mixing. The goal was to preserve the emotion of the original while giving it a fresh, contemporary energy, and the result connected well with listeners.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Original electronic releases, remixes, and client projects focused on melodic techno, deep/organic house, and cinematic electronic vibes.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I prefer to build a trusted network organically, but I’m always open to collaborating with talented professionals on the platform when a project needs it.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital — for flexibility, speed, and creative freedom. I focus on results and emotion, not the tools themselves
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Clear communication, high-quality sound, respect for deadlines, and a result I’d proudly put my name on.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Turning an idea or rough demo into a finished track that feels alive and impactful. That moment when everything locks in is unbeatable.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you make it sound more professional and powerful?” Yes — my job is to elevate the track while keeping its original identity intact.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That electronic music production is just presets and plugins. In reality, it’s sound design, arrangement, emotion, and experience — just like any other form of music.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What vibe or emotion are you aiming for? Do you have reference tracks? Where will the track be released or used? What’s the deadline and revision expectation?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be clear about your vision, references, and goals from the start. The better the communication, the stronger the final result. Trust the creative process and allow room for ideas to evolve.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A laptop with my DAW, a reliable pair of studio headphones, a MIDI keyboard, an audio interface, and a portable hard drive full of sounds and projects. Creativity survives anywhere if the essentials are there
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started producing electronic music driven by a passion for blending modern sounds with Arabic musical roots. Over the years, I’ve developed my own signature style through continuous experimentation, remixes, and independent releases.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Dark, atmospheric, and emotional electronic music with modern techno grooves and Arabic melodic influences.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with Anyma or Tale Of Us because of their ability to combine emotional storytelling with cutting-edge electronic production.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Focus on emotion and groove before details. A strong idea and feeling will always translate better than overproduced sounds.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic music, including techno, melodic house, deep techno, and Arabic-influenced electronic music for artists, brands, and visual media.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creating powerful electronic arrangements and sound design that blend modern techno energy with Arabic and ethnic musical elements.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a strong musical identity, emotional depth, and a unique fusion of electronic and Arabic elements. My focus is on creating impactful, modern tracks that stand out while still connecting emotionally with the listener.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding the client’s vision, references, and goals. Then I create an initial concept or demo for feedback. After approval, I develop the full track, refine the arrangement and sound design, and deliver a polished final version with revisions if needed.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a professional home studio using a modern DAW-based setup with high-quality virtual instruments, synths, and plugins. My workflow focuses on clean sound design, strong low-end, and detailed atmospheric elements suitable for club and cinematic use.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists and producers such as Tale Of Us, Anyma, ARTBAT, CamelPhat, and Stephan Bodzin, as well as traditional Arabic music and maqam-based melodies that influence my sound.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I create custom electronic music and remixes, blending modern techno and melodic house with Arabic and ethnic elements. Most of my work involves producing original tracks for artists, brands, and visual content, as well as remixing existing songs with a unique Middle Eastern electronic identity.
