I’ve worked with Edu many times over the past five years, from chamber studio recordings to large-scale arena classical concerts. His calm, focused approach combined with an exceptional understanding of orchestral sound creates the ideal environment for the best musical results. Edu’s ears, musical knowledge, and technical skill are outstanding. He works efficiently, delivers consistently high-quality results, and always knows how to take a production further when the scope allows. A true professional and a pleasure to work with.

I have known Edu Prado for almost a decade, and I have worked with him on countless occasions now, most often in the context of my record label (also involved in audio production services for many years). Edu is a natural musician of the highest caliber. Whether he is preparing a seamless audio edit to the most exacting specification, mixing an orchestra, creating hallucinatory sound worlds for a sample library, or scoring for visual media – his musicality shines brightly. I have absolute trust in him and would have no hesitation in recommending him for any high-end audio project.

Edu is a pleasure to work with - we collaborated on an album together where he worked as both recording and mixing engineer. The quality of his work is excellent, and he has a deep understanding of a wide range of genres (the album featured a mix of styles) and the ability to engage with complex musical scores in a nuanced way. I was blown away by the detail you could hear in the final mix. He’s also very easy to work with: reliable and prompt delivery, quick responses to emails, calm in a recording situation (which is vital when there’s time pressure), couldn’t recommend more highly.

Edu is a fantastic recording engineer, with whom I have had the good fortune to collaborate on many operatic recordings encompassing repertoire from the nineteenth century to the most recent compositions. Edu has a fantastic ear, an exceptional attention to detail and a creativity that ensures each recording is fresh and vibrant. I’m very happy to recommend him most highly.

Edu is not just a brilliant and talented soundie - he is also one of the finest musical people I have had to good fortune to come across in my career in music.
He has great skills - and is a good communicator - someone who you enjoy being in a studio with!
Edu is one of the most versatile producers and sound engineers I’ve ever worked with. As an orchestral composer and musician, he understands the artistic work not only instinctively, but also academically and technically, which makes the entire process exceptionally smooth. That rare combination of musical intelligence and engineering expertise is what truly sets his work apart. I’ve worked with Edu across studio sessions, film music, albums, live recordings, and post-production, and he consistently delivers outstanding sound quality. And most of all, he's an absolute pleasure to work with!
