Experienced session musician and the driving force behind UK metal band, ALL I LIVE FOR. I write, record and produce for the band, including mixing & mastering.
Hey, I'm Mike. I have been singing and playing music from a young age. To me, working in music is the most fulfilling work that I can do. I absolutely love it!
I studied music at university and have been teaching guitar for over 20 years. I've written hundreds of songs and can produce work quickly if you're on a tight deadline. I'm friendly, approachable, and a good communicator who is responsive to requests. I will do my best to help you to achieve a result that delights you and that you can be proud of.
I've written, recorded, produced and mixed two albums for my band, ALL I LIVE FOR. The latest album, called 'Into The Ether', is one that I also mastered. The track on my profile, 'Embers Of The Fallen', is from this album. I did all the vocals, guitars, bass and drum programming. I use Cubase as my DAW and Neural DSP plugins to achieve the guitar and bass tones. I have Superior Drummer 3 with the Metal Foundry expansion for the drum sounds and I also extensively use the FabFilter plugins.

Interview with Mike Pearson
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: 'Into The Ether' by ALL I LIVE FOR. I pretty much did everything on this album, apart from a few drum edits on some of the tracks.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: The follow up album to 'Into The Ether' by ALL I LIVE FOR.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. It's so much easier these days with current technology being as good as it is.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I want you to be delighted with your creation. So that is my promise.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being creative and writing music is one of my favourite things to do. :)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Heavy metal and hard rock. Although in the past I've worked on piano ballads and acoustic songs as well.
