Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Neon Blossom Saturn Returns Album, I was recording engineer and the songs were in the genre i like so it was a blast recording everything.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm finishing up my own album after working other others, I'm ready to work on other projects though!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not yet.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! to hamstring yourself to one is quite mad honestly.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my absolute best on every song. Since I will be the engineer of record, I treat it as a part of my portfolio and so your songs are my babies too, I will do everything I can to make the songs slap.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: the freedom, the job itself.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much I charge. I'm willing to negotiate.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That i will automatically write and record parts for the song, I'll only do this if asked or if I feel its absolutely warranted.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How many songs? how many tracks? reference tracks? whats the track about?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: been recording since high school, bought my own 24 track recorder. I went to Columbia College for Audio Production. Been working freelance since.

A: Less is more
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Indie Rock
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Tech troubleshooting and orginization
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Im a musician as well so i can provide my own tastes and/or experiences. I also help song projects run smoother as i have completed many, as well as have experience in project managing, especially with artists.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Track everything first, comp as you go as to make sure you have the best take. All edit and mixing comes second and if any changes need to be done in the mastering stage, we go back to the recording and mixing stages to fix it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Home Studio setup downstairs. I have (20) inputs available to record at a time. I have the drum kit mic'd at all times as well as bass and guitars. I have an Upright piano as well as multiple synths and guitars and basses. I have a good collection of microphones as well as 16 channel faders to control tracks. The space is acoustically treated to prevent outside noise as well.

A: Tame Impala, David Bowie, The Beatles
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
