Hello my name is Ray Girtley I go by the DBA of Xalent. I have been engineering professionally for 10 years and specialized in R&B Hip Hop and Pop music along with poscast and radio tracking. Originally from New Orleans La attended Atlanta Metropolitan college and Omnitech Institute in Atlanta Ga while there starting my pro career by working at Black Tattoo & Soul Asylum Studios and handling sessions for Gucci Mane Trillville Andre 3000 and others. In 2010 I moved to NYC and have worked with a numver of different clients and studios throughout the tristate.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: there's a few but I'm proud of all my sessions when the client walked away more than satisfied with the finished product

A: Various different projects that come through the studio daily including my own personal projects

A: Digital mainly and because of productivity

A: That if they can do their part as an artist I will deliver on my end as a engineer

A: That its a simple press of a button or click of a mouse to produce a great sounding song

A: The more information and input you have for your product the better I can assist in bringing your idea into reality

A: My career path is to start from music recording and evolve into television and radio audio engineering. I have been an enginner professional for 10 years.
