Give Your Mix the "90s Analog Edge" – Real Mackie 8-Bus Summing
Digital plugins are great, but they often struggle to replicate the unpredictable harmonic excitement and physical "glue" of real copper and circuitry. I offer a specialized remote service to run your tracks through the legendary Mackie 24.8 8-Bus Analog Console—the desk that defined the sound of 90s House, Lo-Fi, and Indie Rock.
The Service
I don't just "normalize" your audio. I use the Mackie’s unique headroom and "British-style" EQ to add weight, width, and character that you can feel. Whether you want a clean, transparent analog lift or a gritty, driven saturation, I tailor the console’s gain stages to fit your genre.
How It Works
To get the best results, I recommend Stem Summing (up to 8 stereo stems). By splitting your mix into groups (Drums, Bass, Synths, Vocals), I can push the console’s mix bus harder, creating that elusive "analog glue" where the elements of your song finally sit together perfectly.
What You Get:
The Main Mix: A high-resolution (24-bit) stereo print of your track.
The "Driven" Print: A second version pushed into the "red" for natural harmonic distortion and grit.
Hardware EQ: Tasteful use of the 8-Bus EQ to add "air" or "thump" where needed
Authenticity: A photo of your session on the desk.
Are you ready to get your mix out of the computer and onto the desk? Let’s add some soul to your sound.
