BBC Radio-featured UK producer, songwriter & mix engineer delivering radio-ready productions for independent artists. Credits include international collaborations and music licensed for TV. I work across Pop, R&B, EDM, Rock, Latin & Afrobeat with an artist-first approach and focus on long-term collaboration.
I’m a UK-based producer, songwriter, and mix engineer working with artists across the UK, US, and Latin America. I specialise in taking songs from raw ideas to radio-ready records with a bold, emotional and genre-blending sound.
My roots are in Latin, Afrobeat, and R&B, and I bring that rhythmic and melodic instinct to everything I produce – whether it’s Pop, EDM, or Rock. From demo to final master, I build tracks that feel fresh, hit hard, and stay true to your vision.
“Max is such a talented producer. He materialised every concept in my head and made my first song a dream experience.” – Iman (R&B, London)
“Max is the perfect balance of silly and professional. He helped me feel relaxed, gave great tips, and brought so much care to the production.” – Kisakye (Afrobeat/Pop, Leeds)
“Creative, professional, and easy to collaborate with.” – Angelica Artifex (Latin Pop, LA)
Whether I’m building from a voice note or fine-tuning a full session, I work best with artists who want input, care about the craft, and aren’t here to cut corners. Most of my collaborators return for EPs and albums.

Max is an absolute pleasure to work with! Our sessions are always relaxed and full of laughter, but we also get ideas down super quickly. He's really patient and encouraging with me, as someone newer to recording vocals, and he has a real knack for bringing out my best performances. We’ve got 2 songs finished and lots of tracks on the way that I’m super excited about :)

I love working with Max! When I first came to Max, I had been out of music for 5 years and I was quite nervous to work with someone again. We’re now on track 8 together and it works really well bouncing ideas back and forth. Max is capable of producing and mixing/mastering radio-ready tracks that sound really professional!

Max is ace... production is amazing and the workflow, vibe, attitude, communications, ideas and atmosphere is all first rate. He is an incredible collaborator, or a patient and professional facilitator. He just gets it.

Interview with Max Greaves
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping artists grow, creatively challenging them, and that feeling of satisfaction when we finish a great record. I love the process just as much as the result.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to their work. If the sound hits you the right way, they’re probably a good fit. Chemistry matters, but so does taste.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Reference! Unless you know your setup inside out, calibrate your ears before mixing or reviewing by listening to 2–4 reference tracks. It’s one of the fastest ways to improve consistency.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A broad skillset across songwriting, production, performance, and mixing – plus an objective ear, technical clarity, and a positive, collaborative mindset that helps artists push their sound forward.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We start with a creative conversation about the direction. Then I build a strong first version of the track. We review together, refine, and repeat the process until it’s something we’re all proud of. Most songs take 1–4 creative cycles, depending on the project’s needs.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I typically work on full production for singles, EPs, and albums – helping artists shape raw ideas into finished records. Most projects turn into long-term collaborations where we refine their sound over time.
