I'm a 2x Grammy Nominated mixing engineer based in NYC. My strengths are in Hip Hop, Rnb, Latin, and Pop! However, I've done tons of work in Jazz, Rock, Classical, Alternative, etc. I also can mix in atmos as well.

My name is Aidan McFate and I'm a 2x Grammy nominated mixing engineer based in NYC. Both my parents were classically trained musicians in their college years but I started engineering around sophomore year of high school and decided to pursue music full time. I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a major in Music Industry Studies.
Now I’m the chief engineer at Los Depressos Studios BK working alongside Bassy Bob Brockmann (30x Grammy Winner- Jay Z, Biggie, Usher, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, etc.) After graduating at the top of my class, Bob took me under his wing and has shown me the ropes these last 3 years which led to my first grammy nominations in 2025 from mixing Cimafunk’s album “Pa’ Tu Cuerpa” with Bob Brockmann. I’ve worked with Schoolboy Q, Lauren Hill, Tems, Luh Tyler, Bobby Shmurda, Jay Critch, Rowdy Rebel, Red Cafe, Tisakorean, Cimafunk, Big Freedia, Trombone Shorty, Kevin Abstract, Quarters of Change, La Reezy, Abby Jasmine, Pharoah Monch, Stanley Clarke, and many many more.
