From singing in local bands to closely working with Gold-certified producer TECIN (1PLIKÉ140), I have a deep love for exploring genres. Now based in R&B, Pop and Drum&Bass, I used to sing in gospel choirs, metal bands and rap.
Equipped with a professional studio setup, I not only ensure the highest sound quality for all my recordings, but am also currently in the process of becoming a knowledgeable vocal producer.
I can't wait to hear from your latest project and help you to get it where you want it to be!

Interview with Freckls
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am most proud about my band I founded with 14. For 3 years I was not only the front woman and wrote the toplines, but I also organized the booking and promotion with my bandmate.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Becoming a Music Creator on YouTube and a knowledgeable vocal producer.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: My producer TECIN, who not only makes great beats across genres, but also took my studio fright with his chill demeanor. A great creative to work with!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, because it gives me the opportunity to have more than 1 thing.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will give my all to every project. Quality over quantity.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being paid for what I love the most.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you can't make any money of it and it's an unsafe profession.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I am interested in what they plan to do with the project once finished.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give us all the infomation, ideas and inspirations for your project to get the best result.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'd need a generator running on salt water, a loop station, a microphone, a guitar and an amp. I hope cables don't count.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been singing for over 20 and songwriting for over 15 years, recording my first song at 5 years old on my family's Christmas album. I can't remember a life without it. About 2 years ago I decided to go professional and make a living off of my favorite talent. Before that I taught dance and language.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Smooth, vibey and catchy.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't overthink it. It will be great once you finished.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Modern R&B, Drum&Bass and Pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Lyrics.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A memorable topline melody with a catchy rhythm.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listening to the instrumental and making up melodies is the first thing I do, after checking out the reference tracks if given. Then I either start writing or fitting the given lyrics and record in my Pro Tools template. Afterwards I edit and slightly tune my vocals, send a preview and if it's to liking, send the full project files as needed.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: As mentioned, I work with the Apollo X4 Gen 2, the TLM 103 and an Aston Halo. We are equipped with industry standard plug-ins like the Neve 1073, FabFilter Pro-Q 3, FabFilter Pro-D, Tube-Tech CL 1B, Pultec EQP-1A, Antares Auto-Tune Realtime Advanced and many more.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am very inspired by people who never give up on their dream like EJAE.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Creating a vocal melody for someone's lyrics and recording a full demo of it.
