I help creators, churches, and artists get clean, balanced, emotionally clear audio without over processing. Specializing in podcast editing, worship/live audio cleanup, and music production rooted in R&B and gospel influences.
I’m an audio editor and producer with a background in recording arts, live production, and post-production workflows. I specialize in clarity, balance, and emotional space, rather than aggressive or over-processed mixes.
My work focuses on:
• Podcast and spoken-word audio editing
• Worship and live-recorded audio cleanup
• YouTube and visual media audio
• Music production (R&B, Trap-Soul, Worship, Hip-Hop)
I’ve completed formal audio engineering training and have hands-on experience in post-production, ADR, live sound, and media workflows, particularly in church and creative environments where clean delivery and organization matter.
If you need audio that’s clean, balanced, and ready to publish, not over-hyped or over-compressed,I’m a great fit.
I prioritize clear communication, organized sessions, and reliable turnaround times.

Interview with Calvin L.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is clear communication, honest expectations, and audio that’s clean, balanced, and ready to publish; delivered with care and consistency.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I enjoy most is helping people communicate clearly through sound whether it’s a message, a story, or a moment; and knowing the audio won’t get in the way of what they’re trying to say.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: A common misconception is that more processing always means better audio. In reality, restraint and balance often create a more natural and engaging listening experience.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask about file length, format, intended platform, deadlines, and any reference examples. This helps me align expectations early and keep the process smooth for everyone.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Clear communication and organized files go a long way. When I understand the goal and intended platform upfront, I can work faster and deliver better results for the client.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I’d describe my style as clean, balanced, and emotion-driven. I prefer subtle, intentional processing that enhances the message rather than distracting from it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on R&B, Trap-Soul, Worship/Gospel, and Hip-Hop, with a strong focus on emotion, groove, and clean low-end that translates well across systems.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding where the audio will be used and what the client wants it to feel like. From there, I focus on cleanup, balance, and clarity, keeping communication open so there are no surprises and the final result fits the intended purpose.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work involves audio editing and post-production for podcasts, worship services, sermons, and visual media. I enjoy taking recordings that feel a bit rough and turning them into audio that’s clean, balanced, and comfortable to listen to without over processing.
