I'm rofessional touring drummer delivering high-quality remote drum recordings with full multitrack tracks. Specialized in afro, soul, hip-hop, RnB and reggae grooves.

I am a professional drummer specialized in afro, soul, hip-hop, RnB, Caribbean and reggae grooves.

I have performed and recorded with major artists such as Youssoupha, Ibeyi, Chassol, Keblack, Krys and Mo’Kalamity, touring internationally and working in demanding professional environments.

My focus is on tone, groove, musical intention and sound quality, always serving the song rather than overplaying.

From my home studio, I deliver high-quality multitrack drum recordings with full separated tracks (kick, snare, toms, overheads and room), ready to mix in your session.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I am especially proud of my work as a touring drummer with Ibeyi, where I performed live on major stages and contributed to shaping the rhythmic identity of the show. My role was to translate their subtle, organic sound into a powerful and consistent live performance, blending feel, precision and musical sensitivity.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on a few records and I'm playing show live with different artists

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: I'd say digital because of the ease of use, and nowadays it sounds just as good.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: My promise is to deliver high-quality, musical and reliable drum performances that elevate your song and respect your artistic vision every time.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: I get to meet a lot of people and I just love making music.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: Clients often ask how long delivery takes and whether revisions are possible. I explain that standard delivery is within 72 hours and that one revision is always included to ensure full satisfaction.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: People think that the playing part is what is taking most of my time when in reality, everything that goes on behing de scene is what's really time consuming.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: I ask about the musical direction, tempo, references, deadlines and the overall vibe they want to achieve, so I can deliver a drum performance that perfectly fits their song.

  18. A: Be clear about your musical vision and share references. The more I understand your project, the more accurately I can deliver drums that truly serve your song.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: My father is a drummer so I started playing very early. I've been playing since I was 3. I've been a professional for close to 20 years now.

  24. A: My style is groove-driven, musical and expressive, rooted in afro-Caribbean and urban rhythms, always serving the song with feel, intention and precision.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: I'd like to work Jill Scott, because her music provides so much emotions and her live arrangements are beautiful.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Always focus on the groove before adding complexity. A simple, well-placed drum part will elevate a song far more than technical overplaying.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I mainly work on hip-hop, RnB, soul, afro, Caribbean and reggae projects, both in live and studio contexts, always adapting my groove to the artist’s musical identity.

  32. A: My strongest skill is delivering solid, musical grooves with consistency and feel, combining live energy with studio precision to serve every song authentically.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring groove, musical intention and a strong rhythmic identity. My playing is always focused on supporting the song, enhancing its emotion, energy and overall musical direction.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I start by understanding the artist’s vision and references. I then build a solid groove foundation, record multiple takes if needed, and select the best performance. My goal is always to deliver drums that elevate the song naturally.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I record from my home studio using a Bay Custom kit, multiple snares, and professional microphones including Audix DP5, Shure SM57, Rode NT5 and Superlux E100, with hybrid electronic options available.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Groove is my main inspiration. I am deeply influenced by afro-Caribbean rhythms, modern soul, hip-hop and reggae. I always try to serve the song first, focusing on feel, intention and musicality rather than overplaying.
