A: I’m especially proud of projects where my harmony arrangements helped transform a song from good to polished. My role involved arranging and recording backing vocals that enhanced the emotional impact without overpowering the lead.

A: I’m working on my own music as C Note RSA while also collaborating with artists on vocal and songwriting projects.

A: That backing vocals are simple. Good harmonies require musical judgment, balance, and restraint.

A: I usually ask about the key, style, references, delivery expectations, and how they want the vocals to feel emotionally.

A: Be clear about your vision, share references, and communicate openly. The better the alignment, the better the final result.

A: A condenser microphone, Apollo Twin X, MacBook with Logic Pro X DAW, headphones, and a MIDI keyboard.

A: I’ve been involved in music for many years as a vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist. Over time, this naturally expanded into providing professional vocal services for other artists and producers.

A: I’d love to work with PJ Morton because of his musical depth, honesty, and commitment to serving the song rather than chasing trends.

A: Great vocals start with comfort and confidence, not plugins. A relaxed performance will always sound better than over-processing.

A: R&B, Afrobeats, Soul, Gospel-influenced contemporary music, and melodic pop styles.

A: My strongest skill is vocal control and harmony arrangement — knowing how to blend, support, and elevate a song musically.

A: I bring musical sensitivity, strong harmony sense, and emotional intention. My goal is always to enhance the song without distracting from the lead or the artist’s message.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I start by understanding the client’s vision, key, and reference. I then record multiple takes, comp and refine the best performances, apply light corrective processing if needed, and deliver clean WAV files for easy integration.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work from a treated recording home studio, recording through a L22 Townsend microphone, Apollo Twin X audio interface, and Logic Pro X / LUNA DAW setup focused on clean capture, vocal clarity, and consistency. My setup is optimised for high-quality vocal recording.

A: Artists and producers who prioritise emotion, musicality, and authenticity inspire me — people like Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean, Giveon, PJ Morton, and producers who serve the song rather than trends.

A: I most commonly provide backing vocals, harmony arrangements, and vocal recording for artists working in R&B, Afrobeats, soul, and contemporary styles. I also assist with songwriting and vocal production when needed.
