I have been a topliner top professionally and as a hobby for a number of years. I’ve written hooks for local rap artists and performed them for record releases, as well as several of my own songs and demos on all streaming platforms. I work quickly when given a beat especially, and I am also a great singer myself.
I top line melodies and lyrics over existing tracks or even just chord progressions with a theme or mood. I’m good at finding melodic shapes that fit naturally with the music, and clear lyrics. I work independently while I take good direction, though I suspect I could well have a signature sound that you either love or don’t.
