I am a Chicago producer that has worked with many local artists producing mostly hip hop/rap music and writing songs for r&b artists as well. I have also studied composition music for film and video games.
Hi I’m Half Note, an ambitious and creative music producer and songwriter. I have been producing music for a little over 8 years and have experimented in multiple genres (such as jazz, hip hop, r&b, reggae, and pop) to create my own unique sound and I have been writing hooks and full songs for as long as I can remember. If I had to choose which one of these would be my specialty, it has to be music production and beat making in general given that’s how I feel in love with music. I don’t have any big major placements yet but I am working to expand my reach and showcase what I have to offer with as many creatives as possible so let’s work and make magic!

A: I like to really narrow down what my client wants first then I experiment with different sounds around my client’s expectations while adding my own feel to it
