My core strengths lie in Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Rap, where I specialize in creating catchy, modern beats and full productions that feel fresh and radio-ready. Interview with LESL!E
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My unreleased album lol. I did everything in order to learn a lot of industry standard ways of producing quality work. Now it's time to work with others and chase my dreams.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Small solo Pop/HipHop album
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not Currently
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both have their times to shine. I'll focus on using whatever makes the project the best it can be.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Results you tell me you want. You'll get.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's nothing but passion and fun for me. This (Production/Writing) is and will always be my life.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Nothing right now..
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Does your music actually sound good? With no placements, credits, or music released professionally.. People think I may not have what it takes. Rest assured I will do what it takes to make sure you get the results you want and deserve to the best of my abilities and will phone a friend if i need a little help. I'm not shy to admit my mistakes and if im stuck.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Are you starting from scratch, or do you already have demos, voice memos, lyrics, or rough ideas I can build on?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Hit me with any idea you have and let's make magic happen.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Acoustic Guitar, Laptop with FL Studio, a Mic, moog keyboard, V-Moda or sennheiser HD 800 S Headphones
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'd be 1 of 3 things if i didn't want to produce, perform, and write. That's a background dancer, Live Mix Engineer (currently been doing since 6th grade professionally), or a Residential Architect.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Fresh, clean, and unique. Working on refining sound selection and getting used to honing in on pro textures/ear candy
