Experienced solo, chamber and orchestral cellist available for remote recording - clean, musical and reliable.
I am a Toronto-based cellist specializing in high-quality remote recording for composers, producers, and ensembles. My playing has been praised for its “accuracy and panache” (The WholeNote) and for performances that “nudge the audience to tears” (Vancouver Arts Review).
I work comfortably across a wide range of styles, from classical and contemporary repertoire to genre-crossing and collaborative projects. My performance career has included work with leading Canadian ensembles such as Continuum Contemporary Music, Art of Time Ensemble, Against the Grain Theatre, Soundstreams, Tapestry Opera, and Thin Edge New Music Collective, as well as orchestral appearances with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, and National Ballet of Canada Orchestra.
I am also one half of the VC2 Cello Duo, an ensemble known for its precision, musical clarity, and expressive depth. Our recordings have been featured on CBC Radio, presented internationally, and recognized with an East Coast Music Award nomination for Classical Album of the Year (2023).
I hold a Doctor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Toronto, where my doctoral research focused on the effectiveness of online music collaboration. I record from my home studio and am experienced in delivering clean tracks with reliable communication and quick turnaround.
