Jonesy has been in the music-industry as an independent artist for a decade now, specializing in melodies that move crowds, hooks that stick in your brain, and clever lyrics that make 'em mean-mug. From 2017-2025, Jonesy has written, recorded and released 3 projects, over a dozen singles, a multitude of professional music videos in which he co-directed, and performed in venues from coast-to-coast. In 2018, he performed in NYC at Productive Honey's "Peace, Love, Wifi" festival, alongside Brad Brooks, MYFAVORITECOLOR and Lil' Darkie. In 2022, he opened for Bryce Vine at Oregon State Universities "Dam Jam", and in 2024 he opened for Billy Marchiafava at the legendary Barboza in Seattle. His mission with his brand, "Kinda Sorta Famous", is to help create a community for other artist with big sounds but not big audiences, and to shine light on their music. Offering his elite song-writing skills as a service is just one of many ways he plans to contribute to the underground.
