Hi, I'm Alec. I've been a member of numerous punk/rock/metal bands in the Dayton area, primarily as a drummer. I've played dozens of shows and recorded music independently for over ten years. Despite specializing as a drummer, I have experience with the full songwriting process, including the composition/performance/production of guitar, bass, and vocals. I have a knack for finding the most effective (yet intricate) drum score any piece demands, and am willing to offer any other sorts of guidance on the creative process.

Whether you have a part in mind, a rough idea, or no clue what should be played, I can take your song and record the perfect drum part. I play on an e-kit through Steven Slate Drums (customizable samples), played live and without quantization in order to keep its live "human" feel intact. I also have an acoustic kit available upon request, for those that are looking for a more lo-fi and gritty sounding kit.
