Remote Mixing & Mastering

I have worked with Kevin Early many times over a span of 15+ years with many musical projects and he has always blown my expectations out of the water. He has never stopped growing and progressing, both in his recording/musical knowledge and his equipment, while remaining one of the most down-to-earth, no BS, and more importantly- easiest to work with engineers I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Whether he recorded the band from scratch or mixed/mastered recordings we had tracked ourselves, he has always transformed it into a dynamic, heavy recording you can't help but be stoked about!

I have worked with Kevin multiple times on a variety of projects, and it is always a great experience! As an an engineer and producer he is highly skilled--the recordings that come out of his studio always sound fantastic, and he does a phenomenal job getting great sounds and performances out of artists he's recording. Kevin also does excellent work on the post-production side of things--mixing with him is always instructive, and his mastering work is high quality as well. And, he works quickly, with low turn-around time. Highly recommended!!!

I've been working with Kevin on and off since 2003 when he recorded, mixed, and mastered a release for an old band. After that, he did another release for us in 2004 and then 2006 - all of which were top notch for quality, price, and turnaround time. After leaving Virginia, I worked with a few other engineers on the west coast but went back to Kevin in 2018 because no one that I had worked with in between could really match his ability. I've primarily played in metal bands and it goes without saying that Kevin knows metal. He's top notch and I'd recommend his work to anyone.

Originally, we were just trying to find the most sexy, bearded, hunk of a man we could to record our band, so we were told about this guy at Early recording. ..
As it turns out the guy was actually an awesome engineer, and fellow. Not only was the sex appeal up to par, but his computer skills as well!
This dude could make Justin Bieber sound good, or if you are actually a good musician , make you sound that much better!
Kevin has recorded and mixed several bands I’ve been in over the years, and has been nothing short than a joy to work with. He’s a Musician who really does care !!!

I had Kevin come out and record the audio of a local punk festival I had thrown together (Cultfest 2018). He got the whole thing from start to finish, a full day of bands that went well into the night. The recordings got back to me mixed and mastered in great time. On first listen I couldn't believe that it was all recorded live in a VFW hall during a hectic punk fest. Real studio quality work from an unpredictable environment. He was nothing but professional and a great pleasure to work with and i highly recommend him for all your audio needs.

Kevin is super easy to work with!! My band recorded two songs with him last year and we were in and out in just a few hours! Sound quality is great & I love that he can mix for vinyl!
