Hi everybody, my name is Marco and I'm a drummer from Italy. I work for a musical orchestra, studio session and live performance in pop, rock and dance music.
I can record drum track from my own recording studio with the major daw software like Cubase 9 pro, Logico pro X with a Motu 828mk2 audio interface with a external focusrite pre-amp. The microphone that I usually use are the shure beta 52 for the bass drum, shure sm 57 for the snare drum and the rack and floor tom, a shure beta 57A for a snare bottom, 3 AKG 414 for hi hat and overhead. Sometimes I use a Rhode 828 for a room sound.
I can made drum programming and backing tracks with the major sound bank from the Native instruments software products.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually I work comfortably whit rock and pop music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: The clean and a precision.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The energy and the power of a solid drumming.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually record my drum track live from a demo track or from a score, also I can put some electronic drum live or percussion, from a Roland td 12 el drum set or from a software instruments.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The microphone that I usually use are the shure beta 52 for the bass drum, shure sm 57 for the snare drum and the rack and floor tom, a shure beta 57A for a snare bottom, 3 AKG 414 for hi hat and overhead. My audio interface is a Motu 828 mk2 working with a focusrite pre-amp for the 8 analog channel, and an adapt interface for 8 channel plus.

A: My massive influence for drumming come to me from Vinnie Colaiuta, Jeff Porcaro, Simon Philips, Steve Gadd, Omar Hakim, Alfredo Golino. For the production, I love all the production by Alan Parson, Quincy Jones, James Guthrie, Steven Wilson...

A: Live drum recording in my own studio. Drum, percussion and backing tracks programming. Mixing, editing, vocal tune, time alignment, vocal tuning and dialog edit.
