My name is Larry Jr, also go by David Forrester, much like those in the community here I have been writing and imagining songs since a child. I have been fortunate to attend a few songwriting camps, worked behind the scenes since college (Def Jam, The Source, OnSmash, Sway Calloway and routed J. Cole/Big Sean 1st Texas tours) but the pieces feel as though they fell in place on my journey. In that, TREMENDOUS GRATITUDE meeting you all here. Pleasure to contribute.

I can help song write any genre - my parents raised me on everything from Roger Waters/Pink Floyd to Outkast to Dave Matthews Band to BB King to Timbaland to Stevie Wonder to CeeLo to Tim McGraw ("Dont Take The Girl" is one of the greatest songs ever, IYKYK). But in short, ive developed my own style(s) given such a vaste range of early influences. My mind works a little different when it comes to ideas and genre concepts - I love trying new sounds on top of fundamentals. Music is fluid.

I have been performing live poetry shows for the last 8 years so that is also an aspect that I can assist with. If you need a chorus/hook plus a verse or if you just have a concept record in mind, or just a melody - we can flesh it out together. That is one of the most beautiful processes in life and one I respect.
