Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My favorite mic so far is the SM7b which I run through the Warm Audio Tone Beast 12 Mic pre amp. Really a great combination which gives me allot of flexibility. But I also have a couple of large diaphragm cardioid condensers which I use - the M - Audio Nova and Aston Origin.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As a vocalist, Michael Jackson, Dio and Miljenko Matijevic's work as recording artists amazes me. Songwriters - David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Prince. I could go on for months just listening to their music. Story Tellers - Johnny Cash. The one and only.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Online session Vocal Recording is the most common work I do for clients. Mostly work with producers of all ranks and experience levels that need a strong high quality vocal track to mix into their song.
