Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been self taught in production for the last 5 years since 2020, I've been singing in Choirs my whole life and the same with band. Now I help small artists around Sacramento and make my own music.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My production style is a shapeshifter. I bring any vibe or feel that is needed for the project.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love working with artists that are passionate about your craft and have a clear vision on what your song what like to sound like.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more. A lot of times I need to take a step back and see what's needed and what's clashing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually make R&B since I make my own music the most. I do work on tech/house songs for friends that DJ and I work with rock artists on their songs as well.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is being able to understand a songs deeper meaning whether instrumentally or within the mix.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I either try to add a new feeling to a song that was missing or if the client feels like the feel needs to be the same but with added texture I'll find the best way to bring to life what is needed.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I'll normally sit with the song/project and find the feel of the record after talking to the artist and getting the understanding of the themes. Afterwards I'll place the needed elements into the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio complete with everything needed for a full production and fast turn-around time.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Prince and Michael Jackson mostly in both of their own ways they were able to create different feelings with each record and bring music into a new era.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: In person I'll normally make a full song with background vocals and mixing. With that in mind I'll bring your vision to life in any style you'd like.
