DEMIGRANT on SoundBetter

Producer, guitarist, composer & mixing engineer - Heavy sound. No compromises.

I'm a music producer and guitarist specializing in modern metal, with 8 years of guitar-playing experience and 3 years of music production experience.

My work combines guitar performance, drum programming, bass, sound design, and mixing to bring a track from an initial idea to a finished production.

My services include:

- Custom metal guitar recording and riff writing
- Modern metal drum programming
- Bass and additional arrangement elements
- Full metal song production
- Mixing and mastering
- Production and arrangement development from rough demos

I work best with artists looking for a modern, heavy sound and a collaborative production process. Send me your demo, references, or initial ideas, and let's build something that captures the sound you're aiming for.

Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Interview with DEMIGRANT

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: The one that i'm currently working on. Because it shows my passion about music and improvement on many elements - from instruments to mixing/mastering

  3. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  4. A: Can you work from a rough demo? Absolutely. You don't need a fully finished song to get started. I can work from rough demos, guitar recordings, or basic song ideas and help develop them into a cohesive production. Can you match a reference track? I can use reference tracks to understand the sound, tone, and overall direction you're aiming for, then apply that approach to your own music while keeping its identity. What do you need from me to get started? Ideally, your recorded tracks or demo, a few reference songs, and a short description of what you're looking for. If you're unsure about anything, we can figure it out together.

  5. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  6. A: One common misconception is that a heavy mix is all about making everything louder and more distorted. In reality, the impact comes from the balance between the guitars, bass, drums, and arrangement. Every element needs its own space for the whole track to hit hard and still sound clear.

  7. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  8. A: I usually ask about the sound you're aiming for, your reference tracks, and what stage your song is at.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: I would like to work with artist that changed something or are about to change something. Different approaching instead of copy/paste.

  11. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  12. A: Working on my metal album :D

  13. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  14. A: Not really :(

  15. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  16. A: Digital because it's modern age. Only analog stuff i like is the instruments and something you can really play or mess with it.

  17. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  18. A: Clear communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to bringing each client's musical vision to life.

  19. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  20. A: Making something sound way better.

  21. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  22. A: I may not be the best out there, but I can promise you honesty, dedication, and a genuine passion for bringing your music to life.

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: PC,monitor,mouse,keyboard,headphones. Because that's all you need.

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  26. A: I have been doing this for few years and i see this more as my career path than i was when i started :D (Being full metal producer)

  27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: Heavy, dark, groove-driven, and melodic, with a focus on powerful sound design and memorable instrumental sections.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Trust your ears. Not something else says or does.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Modern metal, groove metal, deathcore, metalcore, and other heavy styles.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Combining heavy guitar tones, tight grooves, and melodic ideas into a cohesive modern metal sound.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Heavy riffs, powerful grooves, detailed arrangements, and a modern production that keeps the song's identity intact.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I start by understanding the client's vision and references, then build the arrangement, develop the sound, and refine the production based on feedback.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work in FL Studio with a fully digital production setup, using amp simulations, virtual instruments, and professional mixing tools to create modern, powerful metal productions.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Buster Odeholm

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I work on modern metal production, guitar recording, drum programming, and building heavy, polished arrangements around a band's ideas.
