Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am proud of my Power Of Love album. My featured artists and I put so much into it. I also credit my good friend, Chase Graham, for coming up to me and asking me if I could work on a few songs for him, in which one of them, Remember The Day, has made it into the album.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently, I am working on a new album. More information about that coming out soon.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No clue, honestly. I barely found out about this platform.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I prefer digital. It’s the digital age, brother.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise would be that as long as you work hard, and give me something to work with, we will work as a team to get you far in this business.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love my job, because I want to see music artists become a major player in the music industry so that way we have more varieties of sounds in the business.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I have no clue. I would love to answer any questions I am being asked though.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I guess some folks assume I only do merch, but I do a whole lot more than just merch.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How far do you see your music career going? This is important if you wish to do this long term.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I advise you know which genre you are getting into, and also have an idea on what topic will your music be about.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take my guitar, which I have named Raven, I would take my piano, named Priscilla, I would also take my guitar pick, my mic, and maybe my laptop for music production.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been in the music industry since my teenage years. I took a break from the industry a few years ago, and decided to come back with a new stage name to start new.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is more of a pop country vibe. But I have done some R&B style and reggae style tracks in the past.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Dax, Kane Brown, my friend Skydxddy, And there’s a long list of artists who I feel would be a blast to work with. But with many new artists emerging, that list can expand to a limitless number.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Of course! One tip I have is to listen closely, and see how else you can enhance a track beyond it’s limits.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually focus on pop or country, but I am able to work on different styles as well.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill would be the ability to play by the ear and based on what I hear, I can see what else can be added to compliment a track better.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring different styles together to create a unique sound to make them stand out.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical process, it consists of loads of editing, to fix or add something to give each artist or a song that umph it needs to succeed.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup consists of a laptop, mixing and mastering tools, DAWs and alot more!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have always been inspired by some of the best in the industry. Mainly musicians such as Skydxddy, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Eminem, and there’s many more that I can’t name them all, but these are the few I think of when I think of the music industry as a whole.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I can mix and master music for my clients, as well as use my channels to promote my clients music and help them succeed in the music industry.
