I’m Jake Kimmel - a Toronto-based producer, mix engineer, and indie artist with Berklee training and 15,000+ streams on my own releases. I know what it takes to make a song stand out without a massive budget, and I offer high-quality production and mixes at rates that actually work for independent artists.

I help turn voice notes, rough demos, and half-finished sessions into emotional, release-ready tracks. My sound lives in indie, alternative, folk-rock, and modern pop-rock—warm guitars, clear vocals, wide mixes, and arrangements that feel big without being cluttered.

I’ve produced, mixed, and mastered for artists across Montreal, Boston, and Toronto, helping them shape their sound, develop their identity, and release competitive tracks that get real traction. I’m an artist myself, so I get the pressure of wanting your music to feel exactly right. My process is collaborative, friendly, fast, and focused on making you comfortable.

I work with Adam T7V monitors, an SM7B, Scarlett 2i2, Fender guitars, and a full pro plugin suite (FabFilter, Soundtoys, Waves, Ozone, Goodhertz, Valhalla, TDR, and more). I’m also happy to provide arrangement help, guitar/bass parts, vocal production, tuning, comping, and mix rescue.
