A: The biggest misconception is that singing or songwriting is “just showing up and recording.” In reality, it’s about crafting emotion, melody, and lyrics that truly connect with listeners. Every note, word, and inflection is intentional, it’s a creative process that combines technical skill, storytelling, and emotional performance to bring a song to life.

A: I usually start by asking about the vision and emotion behind the song, what story do you want it to tell, and what feeling do you want listeners to have? I also ask for the genre or style, tempo or reference tracks, and whether you need vocals, songwriting, or both. If you already have lyrics or a melody idea, I’ll ask for those too. My goal is to fully understand your sound, so I can deliver vocals or songwriting that fit your project perfectly.
