Want your song to feel like an immersive story instead of just great music? I blend Hip-Hop, Latin Urban, and Emo Trap with Foley design. My mission is to craft tracks with a powerful emotional connection and originality.
I create tracks that capture emotion, atmosphere, and emphasize their narrative, from lyrics to production to the art of mixing. I focus on crafting sound that tells your story, not just fills in space, but creates an intentional atmospheric immersion on each project. Whether you are after a moody Latin urban vibe, an emotional trap record, or something completely of your own, I'll help you bring your vision to life.

Interview with Julio Figueroa
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Today, most plugins already emulate in an almost identical way; it's more practical when you are on the go.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to work toward your goal and vision, so that you can be satisfied with your art.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I most like is getting to know different artists and producers and the great projects each one of them has, no matter where they are in their career path.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your goal and vision? Do you have any references for your track? What inspires you?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone that is willing to have an open communication about your project and where you are trying to take it.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, headphones, notebook, microphone, and audio interface
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been studying music Business and production. Four years of collaborating with other artists and producers locally.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is to explore as many ideas as possible. I don't adhere to all the norms of a genre; I try to mix it up as much as I can, gathering influences from many places, not just music, but from other forms of art as well.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Eladio Carrion; he is just my favorite artist. A big inspiration for me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be intentional about your work, trust your gut, and don't be overwhelmed by complexity; sometimes, less truly is more
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Latin Urban music, which includes trap, rap, and hip-hop, but I’m not closed to only these styles, I’ve also worked other styles like synthwave and Latin ballads, always adapting to fit the emotion and story behind each track.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: While I have a strong skill set in mixing and production, my strongest skill is lyric writing. I enjoy crafting lyrics that feel genuine and emotionally charged, turning real experiences and ideas into stories that connect with listeners.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I aim to bring a sense of meaning and intentionality to every song I work on. My goal is not just to make a great tune. I focus on creating immersive experiences by using foley and ambient elements that draw listeners closer to the story behind each record, making the music feel alive and emotionally connected
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process starts by understanding the artist’s vision. Discussing their goals, references, and creative direction. Communication is key throughout the process, ensuring we stay aligned and inspired. From there, we brainstorm ideas to shape the sound and emotion of the project. Once the concept is clear, I craft, refine, and mix until the final result fully represents the artist’s story and satisfaction.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work from a home studio equipped for full production and mixing, and I also have access to a professional recording space with excellent acoustic treatment and top-quality gear. This setup allows me to handle everything from recording vocals, drums, and guitars to final mixing and delivery.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists like Eladio Carrión for his delivery and lyrical depth, and producers like Tainy for his innovative, modern sound. I also admire Rick Rubin for his creative decision-making and his ability to bring out the essence of every artist he works with.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I help Artists bring their vision to life through custom song production and mixing. Most projects involve developing immersive tracks from an initial Idea, writing, producing, and shaping the sound into an emotionally engaging record that tells a story.
