Interview with Lyrithon

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Im proud of my upcoming album "Illusions". Its a 14 track project where i handled the full creative process, from production, sampling and sound design to mixing and mastering. I pushed myself to experiment with different, genres, and textures while keeping a consistent vision throughout the project. It really represents my growth as a producer and seeing the whole project come together has been incredibly satisfying.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Right now im working on my own album called "Illusions". Its a 14 track project where im fully focused on experimenting with sound and pushing my creativity and refining my style as a producer.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I dont personally know anyone on SoundBetter yet, but ive seen alot of talented engineers and producers on the platform. If a client needs something outside my specialty, im always happy to point them towards someone who fits their project and vison best.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, because it gives me way more flexibility and speed. I can experiment freely, push ideas fast, and shape sounds exactly how i want without any troubles.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My promise to clients is simple. I deliver polished tracks that bring their vision to life while communicating clearly throughout the process, and make sure the final product is better than their expectations.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: What i love most about my job is how satisfying it is to see my art become reality. Turning raw ideas into polished, high quality tracks and hearing them come alive exactly how i imagined is what keeps me going.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Clients want to know about timing, sound, and workflow. So i make sure to answer clearly and set expectations from the start.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The biggest misconception is that producing is just pressing buttons or dragging samples. In reality, its about creativity, vision, and attention to detail mixing, mastering, and making sure the track hits perfectly on every system.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: When i talk to prospective clients, i usually ask about their vision for the track or what mood or energy they want it to be, and if they have any reference songs. I also ask about the project timeline, whether they need mixing, mastering, or full production, and any specific sounds or elements they want included.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: My advice would be to look for someone who actually understands your vision, not just someone who is there for the payment. Check their work, see if their style fits what you want, and make sure they communicate clearly and deliver polished, professional tracks.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My laptop Headphones Drum Pad DX7 Arturia mini synth

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I’ve been producing seriously for a few years now and have worked on over 150 tracks. I started in FL Studio learning through experimentation and tutorials, and over time focused on trap and rage beats. But over time i found it really fun to make tracks of different genres. And working on that many tracks helped me refine my style.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is mostly trap and hip hop beats, but i also work with ambient, cinematic, and disco dance vibes. I like blending different sounds and moods while keeping the track polished and unique.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I’d love to work with Travis Scott, Yeat, or Frank Ocean. Travis and Yeat for their insane energy and hard trap vibes that match my rage beat style, and frank for his creativity and unique approach to melodies and sound design.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Dont overthink it. Sometimes adding too much or tweaking endlessly can kill the songs vibe

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I usually work on high energy tracks like rage beats, trap, hip hop. I also do some experimental stuff and aggressive mixes

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is my creativity. Im able to take rough ideas or simple melodies and turn them into something unique. I focus on making every track sound different.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring minimalistic and complex production depending on the track. Whether it’s a rage beat or a more chill track, i make sure the track feels polished and professional. i also help making the song sound bigger and cleaner.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: My process starts with understanding the artists visions and reference tracks they have. I usually start by cleaning up vocals or creating the main beat, next i focus on mixing, making sure vocals hit hard and the low end punches without muddying anything. I finish with mastering the track to make it louder, clearer, and ready for release. i always keep communication open with the artist and include revisions, so that the final track matches their visions perfectly.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work only on FL Studio, with a setup focused on efficiency and quality. I use a decent audio interface for clean recordings, and studio monitors for accurate mixing.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Kanye West is a big inspiration for me, especially his approach to sound design, experimentation and sampling

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Producing Rage beats and helping artists turn rough ideas into high energy tracks. A lot of my work is about shaping the overall vibe and sound, not only the mix, making sure everything hits properly.
