I turn ideas into release-ready records: clear, powerful, and full of emotion. With over two decades of experience in production, mixing, mastering, session guitar recording (electric, acoustic and ukulele), session bass recording, sound design and full ghost production, I bring precision, depth, and feel to every project. Let's make it happen!
My work includes mixing, mastering, worldclass session guitar work (electric, acoustic, even ukulele), bass recording, sound design, and full ghost production. Every project is approached from both a technical and artistic perspective, combining precision, emotion, and musical instinct to create a result that truly connects.
With more than two decades of experience as a producer across metal, pop, and electronic music, I know how to make every element work together. My hybrid workflow of analog and digital tools gives every production warmth, depth, and clarity. I don’t use presets or templates; every mix is built from scratch and tailored to your music.
My guitar playing competence is very high: In 2019, I was honored to be among the Top 3 finalists of the Guitarist of the Year competition.
Whether you need a powerful mix, a finished master, tight guitars, expressive sound design, or a fully ghost-produced track, I’ll make sure everything sounds like a killer song.
What you get:
• Professional mixing and mastering that translates across all systems
• Worldclass session guitars and bass recorded through real amps and/or a high-end DI chain for your favorite amp sims
• Custom sound design or ghost production tailored to your vision

Interview with SYNDRONE
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Recently I did the official 20th anniversary edition of "Through the Fire and Flames" with ZP Theart on vocals and we've gained over 100'000 views on YouTube after the first week!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently the songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer of ZP Theart.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't know, honestly!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Depends on what needs to be done, but usually digital because of the flexibility and possibilities, but for simple things, analog is still the way to go.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will exceed your expectations once we have defined what the expectations are.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's just the best job in the world!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: They mostly ask if the provided files for mixing are correct and my answer is usually "there are still files missing" :)
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People expect me to write and fully produce a catchy, Billboard-ready song within 2 days.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: If they have a clear vision or if they need help to put that vision into words.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have clear communication and be fair with what you expect and how much time it needs to fulfill your needs.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My custom made 7 string, a powerful computer system with my plugins, a hardware mono synth, a hardware poly synth and the Axe-Fx.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've started at the age of 7 with guitar playing and first started producing at the age of 18. I feel old now, but I've been doing this for almost 3 decades now!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Much in love with details to emphasize the song as a whole.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Mick Gordon, because whatever he puts his hands on is just phenomenal.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The sound you're looking for lies in capturing that sound at the source! No amount of plugins and processing will get you there if the source tone isn't good.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually it's any genre of modern and traditional metal, modern pop-music and EDM.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm a very skilled guitar player (been playing the guitar for 31 years) and can cover ANY genre and style.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Anything you want! :)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually start by organizing my Cubase project and then work my way through drums, vocals and instruments until I'm satisfied.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mostly work ITB (in the box) and have my go-to plugins by renowned plugin companies for pretty much any scenario and I know them very well. I do have access to hardware compressors (1176, Distressor and LA-2A) in case clients insist on using hardware compressors on vocals and/or drums. For guitar tones, I usually use the Axe-Fx III and frequently reamp guitars using real cabs and mics. I own many guitars from Superstrats to Telecaster so almost any tone imaginable can be covered with my guitars. I love my P-bass, J-bass and Music Man bass for bass duties! I currently have seven hardware synthesizers as well as a Eurorack system in my studio for some real analog synthesizer magic, but also have a ton of software synthesizers I frequently use. For mixing, I have Adam A7X monitors with a subwoofer in a highly treated room, and I'm using a room correction software to make my monitors even more accurate. Additionally, I have an army of high end headphone for mixing and mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Musicians that inspire me the most are Mick Gordon, Geoffrey Day and David Levy. Mixing engineers that inspire me the most are Zakk Cervini, Buster Odeholm and Serban Ghenea.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do ghost producing (I composer their songs, I record their guitars/bass or program their virtual instruments) and I do a lot of mixing and mastering for clients.
