Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long have
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That's I'm just concerned about the bass part. I'm thinking of the whole arrangement before I even pick up my bass.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your deadline? Where are you in the writing/production phase? Are you seeking something specific or do you want to be surprised? Are there any other parts coming in on top after this?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just get the conversation going. You're in the driver's seat.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: If there's isn't electicity on this island, nail-clippers, an acountic, tuning fork and spare strings and strap.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing music since I was 13.

A: Playful.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Blakes Mills. He has such unique original work and also producess great songs.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: You want that take to be clean and keep some headroom. So keep the loudest parts -12db - -8db.

A: singer-writers in Indie and Folk music

A: Variety. I know how to move in multiple directions depending on the artist.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Supporting harmony and movements that delivers great imapct.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to your work and devise some options. What's important to me is where the artist wants to take the music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My life has taught me to portable. My workhorse bass is a Sire V7 Jazz. My amp is an Eden WTX. I recording into a presonus pre-amp. I also have numerous other pedals and pre-amps to get the unique tone for your sound.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Radiohead, The Frames, Pino Palladino and Blakes Mills are some of my favourites
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work with singer-songwriters to devise a bass part the supports the music and helps deliver their message.
