Things with strings! I have 30 years of experience doing sessions, touring as a guitarist for other artists and promoting my own music, Broadway shows, composing for television and documentaries.
Being a musician in NYC requires the ability to play a lot of different kinds of music, from funk to punk and around the bend to country and folk. Especially if you work in the theater world. In addition to being a guitarist/mandolinist/lapsteel player, I am a songwriter and have released 6 cds, been featured in Billboard and toured in Europe promoting my work. I've also been hired to compose for music libraries and my tracks have been used worldwide in shows such as SpongeBob Square Pants.
I play guitar, mandolin, lap steel guitar, banjo, dobro and ukele.
