Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to give the client exactly what they need for their tracks and to do it on time. I don't take short-cuts. I get the client professional drum tracks that they are happy with.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always ask what the vision is for the track before starting to work. My goal is to supply drums that YOU want on your track. I will do my best to enhance your ideas with my professional abilities, but ultimately the tracks drums need to serve the artist and their vision.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style has a very 'Mike Portnoy' 'Neil Peart' vibe to it. They're my biggest hero's and my drumming reflects that. I love getting creative while keeping things tight and heavy. I can get real groovy and love to jam. I always try to be musical as a drummer which helps define my sound from other drummers.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creating parts fast and effectively. I am confident in my skills on recording drums, so the raw stems will be ready for mixing at a professional level by either myself or your mixer.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring heavy, tight drums to every track I am on. I do what the song NEEDS. This is about the song not just my drumming. I love to get creative when given the chance, and can balance between filling the needs of the song while also getting creative enough to enhance the tracks.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am super inspired by Steven Wilson's song writing and production on his albums. I also love the style of bands like Dream Theater, Opeth, Deftones and so many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am new in the session recording space but the quality of my work is far past 'new'. I love to work on creative rock tracks and excel best at prog rock and heavy rock. I've recorded multiple albums in popular Toronto studios (Metal Works, Phase One etc) and record professional live drums from my home-studio. I have acquired an audience of 200,000 people on my socials for my drum playing and sound, and want to share my work on your projects.
