Mixing and mastering for pop, R&B and hip hop, from an engineer who does this in-house for a label every day.
I'm Brandon, a Los Angeles-based mix/master engineer and the in-house producer and engineer at Ethika Music Group. My work totals 55M+ streams, with credits including Coco Jones, Swae Lee, Rick Ross, NoCap and Dante Bowe. Pro Tools Certified, trained under Lovy Longomba (former assistant to Dave Pensado), and a former assistant engineer at OWSLA.
What I offer on SoundBetter:
- Mixing, master included: from $350 per song (II-track) and $650 full stems
- Stereo mastering: $125 per song
- Stem mastering (up to 5 grouped stems): $350 per song
- Post mixing and sound design for video, ads and podcasts: quoted per project
Every mix comes with main, clean, instrumental and a cappella versions, so your song is ready for release and for sync pitching from day one.
I also write and produce for film and TV with my team, OatMilq. Our music has landed on All American, Sistas, The Game and Netflix's Selling the OC, plus a Don Julio campaign and the score for Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse keynote.
How it works: send me your rough mix and one or two references. I'll tell you what I hear and what I'd do before you spend anything. First pass in 5 business days, 2 rounds of revisions included.

check_circleVerifiedBrandon is a true professional and master at his craft. I love the way he mastered my tracks. He has a swift work rate but that does not come with a sacrifice of integrity. You get the highest quality with Brandon and his ability to turn around work quick is just an added bonus.
check_circleVerifiedBrandon was awesome! Looking forward to working with him again!
check_circleVerified"client comes first" — the ever-so-common catch phrase. Brandon, however, delivers on this through action, not just promise. Throughout the process, Brandon was extremely professional, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure he was providing me his best work possible. His turn-around was quick, and even took the time to meet on call to make sure our sonic visions were properly aligned.
check_circleVerifiedI had a great experience working with Brandon. He takes feedback like a pro and iterates very quickly. I commissioned him for a track in a genre he didn’t have previous experience with but he did his due diligence and provided a great mix and master.
check_circleVerifiedAmazing, yet again! Brandon is a professional and makes sure everything you asked is reached. Thank you again, Brandon!
check_circleVerifiedBrandon is an excellent engineer! He pays attention to detail and really tries to capture the vision for the song that the artist had intended. Knowledgeable and fun to work with
check_circleVerifiedAmazing person to work with! He contacted me and worked with me through the process. I will continue to use his services!
check_circleVerifiedFirst time going to Brandon! He's professional, fast, and well versed in his craft! 1000/100. You guys won't be disappointed!

had the pleasure to be mentored by this guy... super patient and understanding... a really awesome experience!

I’ve worked with Brandon multiple times. Not only is he great at what he does but he brings a good vibe! He understand where I want to go musically without saying much. Highly suggest his work!

Brandon is top notch. He and I have worked together on multiple occasions and his ear always makes the right choice. Great collaborator & skilled producer!

I’ve been working with Brandon for about three years now. I choose to work with him over other people in the LA due to the fact that he can really create the vibe I want. He is great with using real instruments, and producing a sound that I love! In addition he is very easy to work with, fun and can get everything done in a timely manner. Brandon also mixes and masters my tracks! It’s nice to have a producer that does all three; produces, mixes and masters!
If you’re looking for someone to help you find a new sound and or evolve your sound then Brandon is definitely the person!
Been working with Brandon for a long time now, and i've gotta say that he's one of the most professional and easy to work with engineers in the business. He caters very well to the needs of his clients and welcomes any concerns and questions that may arise. Could not recommend him enough for your respective projects!

What a pleasure it was working with Brandon. I appreciate his attention to detail and style. Looking forward to our next project!

I have known Brandon for a couple years now and have watched his talent as an artist, producer, and engineer grown tremendously. I've worked with him during the recording process and for separate mixing projects and his skills, professionalism, and timeliness is unmatched.
Not only is he easy to work with, but more importantly truly listens and understands the artist/client's vision while providing insightful critiques and suggestions. Happy to recommend Brandon to any artist, as his experience is well versed in all aspects and genres.

Brandon is an extremely talented and proficient musician, engineer, and producer. He has a great ear and works incredibly fast. He is an extremely talented vocal producer as well so if you are looking for that next level future sound he is your guy.
He has exemplary interpersonal skills and is very easy to work with but don't let that kindness be mistaken for weakness. Brandon will not let you get away with any weak performances and will push to get the absolute best of you and the project you are working on. I highly recommend this gentleman for any of you creative needs.

Brandon is one of the most talented producers I have ever worked with. He has great equipment to put the fire on your next track. He is currently working on a track for me and cant wait to see the final master. I will continue to work with Brandon and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work.

I was honored to have bee featured in an article for the VOYAGE LA this year. Their questions lead me to reflect on my path, opening a new moment of self-appreciation for my work. Music is often hard work with little reward, but part of the process is learning how to celebrate our victories (large or small)!
