Session Drummer

Hey y'all, I'm a full time professional living in LA with tons of experience recording and performing a variety of genres from pocket to rock to jazz to latin, etc. High quality mics. 5 piece maple kit. Pocket snare/deep snare. Mostly Zildjian cymbals. Check my IG(my name) for tons of clips/recording examples.

Very experienced with performing and recording pop, rock, jazz, CCM, and gospel. Able to communicate clearly and get files to you with a quick turnaround. You'll get labeled stems, raw and pre-mixed. I've recorded in studios all around LA and Dallas, including the legendary East West Studios. Super comfortable sticking to patterns, but also able to add more/improvise when asked. I'm very detailed with notes and aware of how to follow the harmony/song structure since I also play keys and guitar. I've had many clients that I've done remote recording for and always do my best to get the sound that they want. Mics - Rode NT2s, Shure SM57, Sennheiser e604s, Audix D6. I have a Tama 5-piece maple kit(2 rack, 2 floor) available to be used in different configurations with coated or clear heads and mostly Zildjian cymbals. I've got a great crack/pocket snare as well as a deeper one with wood hoops that's great for the fat/CCM/country sound. Gretsch Catalina 3 piece jazz kit available for amazing open/bebop tones. I also have a clap stack and percussion if needed.

Performed/recorded with artists such as Shaun Martin and Jay Jennings of Snarky Puppy, Sam Barsh, Thomas Adam Johnson or “TAJ”(bassist for Fred Hammond, Jill Scott, Cece Winans), Lizzie Morgan(from Elevation Rhythm), Roy Cotton, Nick Finzer, and Scott Tixier.
