Hello, my name is Marcus and I'm a music professional with over 10 years experience as musician and audio engineer. I have performed or recorded with artists such as Tarralyn Ramsey, Walter Beasley, Andre Ward and Kendra Morris, to name a few. In the past nine years I've recorded and/or mixed for E-40, Joe Budden, Wale and many others.

I am a self-taught recording engineer and music producer. Audio manipulation, music arrangement and music production have been a passion of mine since childhood, exploring pc-based softwares such Reason, Sony Acid, Audacity, FruityLoops and more. As I grew older and began performing with artists, I was introduced to various DAWs, growing a personal preference for Apple Logic and Avid ProTools. Other DAW’s I’m familiar with include DigitalPerforma and Cubase.

In 2009 I accepted a position as recording and mix engineer at Cybersound Recording Studios, where I counted Joe Budden, Monster Cable Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Wale, DJ Drama and members of New England Patriots among artist clients.

I am currently based in Los Angeles and freelancing as an audio engineer, consultant, and performing musician. My passion is what it was: the emerging artist, and I will work to help the independent artist tell his/her story through their art.
