Interview with Nathan Scarr

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I completed my 2nd semester term project which was entirely written by myself. I played all the parts except for the drums, and recorded all of it in the Algonquin College recording studio with the help of some of my classmates. I'm very proud of that project because when compared to my 1st semester term project, there is a noticeable jump in quality due to the increased knowledge and experience i gain over the course of a few months.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on my 3rd semester term project.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Evan Stolpmann is a classmate of mine. I've worked with him and heard his work and he delivers a quality product.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, because that is most of what I have access too at the moment.

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: For my own projects I usually do Metal or Rock music, but I've also worked on Jazz recordings, Acoustic recordings, Hip Hop recordings, and Blues recordings.
