I have been playing music since I was 8 years old, when I began training as a classical violinist. In high school, I taught myself the guitar and piano to facilitate songwriting and arranging, which I felt naturally compelled to do. In college, I majored in music, and focused on composition, writing and performing in bands and musical theater. Meanwhile, I began doing live sound for touring groups, and recording at home, setting up a studio. For the past two years, I have been playing in a number of groups, and have self-produced a solo album.
