What I do is take my time to hear the music then the lyrics that come to me, sing them and then write them down. It’s a spiritual process for me so I take songwriting very seriously to deliver the best results possible for your project.
I am a Detroiter born and raised who has an infinite love for music. I create catchy hooks, choruses, dope verses that can be sung or you can rap with, and make the most beautifully made bridges with an incredible crescendo. I love a good vamp at the end of a song so I put that in mind as well in case you’d like one for your project.

Interview with Sidni Sera
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly do background vocals but I can also write songs for my clients that are in the genre of R&B, Gospel, Hip-Hop, and Pop. I'm also open to be featured as a lead vocalist for any project that is in any of the aforementioned genres.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Let me know what your vision is for any project you're looking to hire me for, be specific and precise as possible, and we'll take it from there. Be willing to answer questions I may have that will be from an angle you may not have considered before and PLEASE be open to any ideas I may suggest to make the project as best as it could possibly be.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I consider myself someone who is futuristic and deep in terms of my perspective on life as well as being unique in terms fashion. When it comes to music, I aim to write songs that are timeless and not attempt to fit in with current musical trends.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: If I can understand what the client wants the message to be in a song and/or the purpose of a performance, I will then sing/write with the right intentionality to give the client my best work for what they are looking for.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: For background vocals, I bring harmony and blend with a soulful sound. For lead/featured vocals, I also bring a soulful sound with more passion and ferocity. I can also have a softer, more melodic and calming sound if needed.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually for songwriting, if I listen to the instrumental a few times, I can start jotting down lyrics within a few minutes. For singing, I will already show up to rehearsals and performance times already warmed up and prepared with the specific attire if applicable.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love and deeply respect a singer/songwriter like myself so I'm very inspired by people such as: Babyface, Victoria Monet, Muni Long, Ne-Yo, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, etc.
