Mixing engineer and producer specializing in genre bending music, with a body of work that has garnered over 6 million streams across platforms.
I take a songwriting centric focus as a mixing engineer - my priority is to highlight the creative voice in your writing and augment natural shapes in your arrangement. Mixing is an emotional craft that too many engineers make solely about the technical aspects!
Much of my work has been for songwriters with a strong experimental kick. With artists such as FORAGER, Sarah Rossy, and Elly Kace I've shape their sound that navigates the genre boundaries between jazz, folk, and indie rock,
I work from a home studio in Brooklyn New York, where I also produce, compose, and perform as a guitarist and bassist. A third generation musician, I have been surrounded by professional musicians my whole life. At Yale University I studied Jazz with Wayne Escoffery, composition with Konrad Kaczmarek and Kathryn Alexander, and at the Banff International Workshop in Jazz & Creative Music I studied improvisation from Vijay Iyer and Tyshawn Sorey.

Endorse Jack BrozaJack brings an expansive sonic palette to every project he touches. He sound-sculpts with finesse and fluidity, with an ear for how the arc of an individual song fits within an artist's wider musical landscape. He fosters a working environment imbued with care and compassion; he wants your music to shine, and works enthusiastically to bring your particular vision to life. It was a total joy to work with Jack on the mixing+mastering of my recent album (Have, Know, Want), and I'm looking forward to future collaborations!
Jack has an incredible ear, simultaneously innovative and precise. It’s not every day you find an artist/producer with both a unique imagination and complete command of established genres: he can push your music forward *and* make it slap. I return to his original music for its harmonic ingenuity and natural sense of melody, and he has sharpened my own music/mixes—plus he knows his way around a guitar.
Our first album, Riot Cycle, just turned four a couple of months ago and it still remains a magical project. There are moments where even we can forget that the album was recorded remotely thanks to the incredible work Jack did behind the scenes! Jack was able to bring this record to life, injecting in it the spirit of a live album. His contribution went well beyond edits and mixing. As we worked with him on Riot Cycle he quickly became like a 6th member of the band and has left his fingerprint on our sound as a whole in the best way possible.
Jack is without a doubt the most creative, skilled, and patient producer/mixing engineer I have ever worked with. His workflow is mind blowing - I’ve never seen anyone get around so quickly in a DAW and be able to bring ideas to life with such ease. He is also one of the best guitarists I know, not to mention a highly proficient pianist and probably can play anything. But if that weren’t enough, Jack is also a such a kind and patient person to work with. He really cares about your ideas and vision, and the vibes are ALWAYS good. You will not regret working with him, he is the best.
Jack did a wonderful job producing and mixing my record. He knew the right way to balance creative input and execution of my vision when we were working on the songs together. Not to mention he's mind-blowing on the guitar. I genuinely could not have finished the project without him.

Jack was a fantastic producer for us. He understood the sound we were going for, and pushed us creatively. Can’t wait to work with him again on the next EP!
Jack is a thoughtful and prolific producer, sound engineer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. We have worked on dozens of tracks over the years and each time I'm more and more impressed by his technical wizardry and creative sensitivity. His experience as a songwriter and improviser also inform his process in the most supportive way.
We've worked in various contexts including:
-Working with old stems to transform them into totally new tracks
-"Ground-up" creative work from square 1
-Enhancing band bed tracks with effects and creative layers of productionI highly recommend Jack!
Jack brings a sensitive ear, lots of experience, and musicality in spades. He has faithfully executed the creative vision on all of the projects I've worked on with him.
I had a great experience mixing and producing with Jack. His ideas are fresh and skills abundant, I will definitely be working with him again in the future!
10/10 - we couldn't do it without him.
