Katy Perry once called me “quirky” on American Idol Season 17 and I’m leaning into it! I’m a singer-songwriter, topliner, producer, keyboardist, and music artist crafting emotional pop, alt-pop, and electronic/EDM with cinematic melodies and a modern edge.

Hiya! Zoya here...I’m a topliner, recording artist, singer-songwriter, producer and keyboardist creating emotionally driven pop, alt pop, and indie leaning music. I specialize in crafting strong toplines, honest lyrics and cinematic melodies, keyboard-driven production that feel intimate, modern and human.

My breakout single, “So Far Away,” went viral on TikTok with over 190K video creations, and has been licensed for campaigns with Jay Shetty, Dove, and Benefit Cosmetics. I’ve advanced through the judges’ round on American Idol Season 17, was a Semi-Finalist in the 2016 Unsigned Only Music Competition for my self-written anthem “I Still Believe,” and earned a Semi-Finalist spot in the 2024 American Songwriter Competition.

I’ve independently released critically acclaimed EPs, “Veracious Heart”, “Journey,” and "Alone, But Not Lonely" and sold out shows across the U.S. and U.K., including London, NYC, and Los Angeles. I’ve shared festival stages with major acts like DNCE and Third Eye Blind, and my music streams on 300+ college radio stations worldwide. My work has earned support from tastemakers such as R3HAB.
