I'm specialized in a wide range of string instruments used in modern country music — from 10-string pedal steel to 4-string fiddle. If you're aiming for guitar tones in the style of Luke Combs or Lainey Wilson but don't want to book a flight to Nashville — I'm your guy!
🎸 About Me
I'm a professional guitarist based in Germany, offering authentic Nashville-style string work for both live and studio projects. I studied Pop Guitar at the University of Osnabrück, where I specialized in modern country music. Since then, I've been performing with artists like Alina Sebastian and Doug Adkins, and I lead my own heavy country band.
🪕 What I Play
My focus is on traditional and modern country instruments, including:
Electric guitars (all styles), acoustic guitar, pedal steel, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro.
Whether you're going for a classic honky-tonk vibe or a more contemporary country-pop sound, I bring the tone, feel, and precision you're looking for.
🎧 Where You Can Hear Me
You can hear my work on "Eyes of the Highway" by Alina Sebastian, as well as on her latest and upcoming releases. I also write, record, and produce my own music, where all these influences come together.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with David Tarakona
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop countryish stuff or southern rockfish stuff.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill? I can bend three stings at a time on guitar.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Depends on what is needed. Sometimes I play just what's written on the sheet of music, but most of the time I'm involved in the creative process and come up with my own ideas.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I got Fender, Marshall, Vox amps and some dynamic, ribbon and condenser mics and a bunch of usable amp sims, and way too many guitar effect pedals.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm a huge fan of the Nashville guitarist scene. Especially of tom Bukovac.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording electric guitar or pedal steel and come up with own riffs and ideas.
