Interview with Aleksei Nersesian
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by engineers and composers who treat sound as storytelling rather than just technical balance — people like Alan Meyerson, Nigel Godrich, and Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross. I also admire modern post-production engineers working in film, games and podcasting who focus on emotional immersion through sound design and subtle detail.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work involves audio post-production: mixing and mastering, dialogue editing, podcast cleanup, sound design and creating immersive sonic environments for commercials, animation and digital media. A large part of my workflow is focused on spoken-word content - ads post production, podcasts, interviews and voice-driven productions - where clarity, emotional tone and natural sound are critical.
