Hello! My name is Dylan, and I love mastering audio.
I'm an audio engineer with a strong passion for music and sound, currently based in the heart of beautiful Norwich. Since completing my Bachelor of Science Degree in Audio, I have worked in a variety of key roles in music such as in live sound, broadcast, and lecturing to name a few. I have worked with clients such as the BBC, Deutsche Gramaphon, NPR (recording and mixing a Tiny Desk Concert with Roger Eno), and I currently tour with and mix live sound for Scottish indie band Swim School. Prior to working as Fine City Mastering, I ran a recording studio here in Norwich. For my work as Fine City Mastering, I work out of an awesome sounding space that houses some lovely audio tools here in Norwich.
Throughout my time in the music world, I discovered my love for mastering because of how important it is that every project is delivered to listeners in its best possible form. Mastering is a significant part of making sure of that! I love being part of the process of helping music and sound reach people in the way an artist intended for listeners to experience it.
