I'm a bass player/singer and session musician from Vancouver, BC with 25 years of experience both on stage and in the studio. For the past 12 years I was part of the house band at the Roxy Cabaret downtown Vancouver. We played top40 covers 3 to 4 nights a week. It gave me great stage experience and exposure that got me calls for studio sessions.
During all my years of playing live I also have gained experience in the studio. I have my own home studio where I can record high quality tracks for any type of recording. Nowadays with the technology at hand there's two ways I can do your session. I can either go to the studio of your choice (for people in my area) or I can do an e-session at home. I can record in any format and quality you need.
Don't hesitate to contact me for your next song or album.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Reggie strikes again on a new track! It is absolutely beautiful, provided perfect bass guitar and drums tracks, highly recommended!
You can pay a guy to play but you can't pay a guy to care. Reggie cares.
Another strong project with Reggie, as always he's great to work with!
Another top notch project with Reggie, highly recommended.
Reggie is super easy to work with and a killer hard rock bassist, he also got his buddy involved to track drums on a track for me and I'm blown away by the greatness that these guys are bringing, they nailed it! SoundBetter.com was made for guys like this! Highly Recommended!
Reggie did 8 tracks for my album and was phenomenal throughout. Highly recommend.
Reggie is a pro. He finds the vibe and adds amazing depth.
Another awesome effort. I've used a lot of pros for projects but none have been as heavily invested in the spirit of my music as RH.
Diligent, articulate and very skilled. Highly recommend
Top notch playing and service. Thanks
Awesome job. Again. Thanks.
Meticulous and skilled. Highly recommend.
Great player, great human. Highly recommend.
This is my second job with Reggie and he is an outstand professional and bassist. I just can say positive things about him. I hope to work with him again soon! I strongly recommend!
My experience with Reggie was great! He is a fantastic bassist who plays with feeling and technique that every great musician must have. Absolutely precise, creative, and dedicated with the job. Perfect communication, respecting the schedule. Superb recording quality. I am sure I will work with him again. This guy must be always displayed in the first page here at SoundBetter.
Highly recommended. It goes without saying, Reggie is without a doubt the epitome of professional. But his fortitude and conviction in his playing is addictive. I not only have the opportunity to track with him? I’m a big fan of his playing and diversity. I look forward to working more with him.
I hired Reggie to play in my band at the world famous Roxy Cabaret in Vancouver over 12 yrs. ago and never looked back. He's still with me & knows how to play any style on bass & has an impressive vocal range. He's a quick study and his musical talent and skill never ceases to impress me. You'd be lucky to have him at a gig or in your studio. I wouldn't want anyone else on stage with me!!
Whatever song it is Reggie can play right along to it the 1st time.
I had a chance to work with Reggie multiple times, but also see his work with other musical projects as far as session work, production, lessons. Definitely recommend his services.
I had the joy to first work with Reggie on a studio project. I was blown away by his vocal ability. To be given the lyrics the melody on the spot and song through it a couple of times then by the third take it was a keeper. We did this for 10 songs. I also recorded him on Bass for another studio project, same thing just banged off the tracks and was also super easy to work with- (Jason/Producer)
I have worked with Reggie Hache numerous times in the studio on various projects. He is a total pro and lots of fun to work with, not to mention a great vocalist and killer bass player. (Peter Wisstoff, singer/songwriter/producer.)
Interview with Reggie Hache
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: As a bass player, even if you're playing other styles outside of rock don't be afraid to put some overdrive on it. Even if it's a tiny bit. it will enhance harmonics in ways you won't expect and merge in the mix in a beautiful way.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a lot of imagination.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As stated in my description I am a big fan of Rush and Geddy Lee was a big influence on me but others have been: - Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) - Chris Squire (Yes) - Alain Caron (Uzeb) - Bryan Beller (The Aristocrats) Just to name a few... I know a lot of musicians say there's no more good rock music in the modern era but I've been listening to artist like Karnivool, Plini, and Polyphia and I must say the future is in good hands.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I recommend my band mate and friend Lance Chalmers as a drummer. He's a meticulous and flexible musician that will enhance your songs. Check out his SoundBetter page. https://soundbetter.com/profiles/492469-lance-chalmers
