I'm a bass player and session musician from Vancouver, BC with 25 years of experience both on stage and in the studio. For the past 12 years I was part of the house band at the Roxy Cabaret downtown Vancouver. We played top40 covers 3 to 4 nights a week. It gave me great stage experience and exposure that got me calls for studio sessions.
During all my years of playing live I also have gained experience in the studio. I have my own home studio where I can record high quality tracks for any type of recording. Nowadays with the technology at hand there's two ways I can do your session. I can either go to the studio of your choice (for people in my area) or I can do an e-session at home. I can record in any format and quality you need.
Don't hesitate to contact me for your next song or album.

Another creative, musically rewarding experience with Reggie. He’s versatile, organized, a concise communicator and a great guy. His energy and enthusiasm are inspiring and contagious. If you seek a rock bassist, look no further. Aces in all categories… I keep coming back, going on project #6 with Reggie.

You can pay a guy to play but you can't pay a guy to care. Reggie cares.

Reggie is super easy to work with and a killer hard rock bassist, he also got his buddy involved to track drums on a track for me and I'm blown away by the greatness that these guys are bringing, they nailed it! SoundBetter.com was made for guys like this! Highly Recommended!

Another awesome effort. I've used a lot of pros for projects but none have been as heavily invested in the spirit of my music as RH.

My experience with Reggie was great! He is a fantastic bassist who plays with feeling and technique that every great musician must have. Absolutely precise, creative, and dedicated with the job. Perfect communication, respecting the schedule. Superb recording quality. I am sure I will work with him again. This guy must be always displayed in the first page here at SoundBetter.
Highly recommended. It goes without saying, Reggie is without a doubt the epitome of professional. But his fortitude and conviction in his playing is addictive. I not only have the opportunity to track with him? I’m a big fan of his playing and diversity. I look forward to working more with him.
I hired Reggie to play in my band at the world famous Roxy Cabaret in Vancouver over 12 yrs. ago and never looked back. He's still with me & knows how to play any style on bass & has an impressive vocal range. He's a quick study and his musical talent and skill never ceases to impress me. You'd be lucky to have him at a gig or in your studio. I wouldn't want anyone else on stage with me!!
Whatever song it is Reggie can play right along to it the 1st time.
Interview with Reggie Hache
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: As a bass player, even if you're playing other styles outside of rock don't be afraid to put some overdrive on it. Even if it's a tiny bit. it will enhance harmonics in ways you won't expect and merge in the mix in a beautiful way.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a lot of imagination.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As stated in my description I am a big fan of Rush and Geddy Lee was a big influence on me but others have been: - Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) - Chris Squire (Yes) - Alain Caron (Uzeb) - Bryan Beller (The Aristocrats) Just to name a few... I know a lot of musicians say there's no more good rock music in the modern era but I've been listening to artist like Karnivool, Plini, and Polyphia and I must say the future is in good hands.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I recommend my band mate and friend Lance Chalmers as a drummer. He's a meticulous and flexible musician that will enhance your songs. Check out his SoundBetter page. https://soundbetter.com/profiles/492469-lance-chalmers

I can do three revisions. After that I charge extra but I will make sure that you are satisfied with the final result. The turn-around depends on the complexity of the song.
