Yuki Luce

Lyricist & Singer Emotional

Yuki Luce on SoundBetter

I create emotional, cinematic songs that reflect a world only I can feel – through raw lyrics and ethereal vocals.

Hi, I’m Yuki Luce – a lyricist and singer with a sound shaped by solitude, honesty, and poetic storytelling.

I write songs that don’t just describe feelings – they create an entire atmosphere.
Each lyric I write is a window into an emotional universe, inspired by artists like SHY Martin, Gracie Abrams, and the quiet spaces between heartbreak and hope.

My voice is soft but intentional. My words are vulnerable but strong.
I blend raw emotion with melody to build songs that feel personal and cinematic.

I’m here to collaborate with producers and artists who want something more than just catchy – something *real*, something *felt*.

Let’s build a world through music, one lyric at a time.

Available for:
• Lyric writing (verse, chorus, full songs)

Interview with Yuki Luce

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: One project I’m especially proud of is a song I wrote called “me and myself.” It’s deeply personal and explores themes like self-hate, loneliness, and the desire for healing. I wrote both the lyrics and melody from a very vulnerable place, and many people who read or heard it told me it made them feel understood. That emotional connection — creating something that helps others feel less alone — is the reason I write music. My role was the lyricist and songwriter, and I hope to collaborate with a producer to bring it to life fully.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I’m currently writing lyrics for a few indie-pop demos and preparing to collaborate with new producers.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not yet, but I’m open to networking and building those relationships!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital — it’s more accessible for collaboration, and I can work with people around the world instantly.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: To treat your project with care, deliver honest and emotional lyrics, and revise until it truly resonates with you.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Helping people express something they’ve felt but couldn’t put into words. That connection is everything.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: That writing lyrics is just about rhyming. It’s actually about crafting a story that feels true and hits emotionally.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: What’s the story or emotion behind your song? Do you have any references? What kind of mood or message do you want the lyrics to deliver?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Be honest about the emotion you want in your song — the clearer the vision, the better I can bring your story to life.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: Laptop, headphones, notebook, pen, and portable audio recorder.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I’ve been writing lyrics as a hobby for years, and now I’m taking steps to turn it into a professional path by collaborating and studying music production.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: Emotional, vulnerable, soft but impactful. I focus on real feelings and lyrical depth, often with a melancholic or dreamy touch.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: I’d love to work with SHY Martin because her songwriting is honest and raw, and I think our styles would match beautifully.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Even in a big mix, leave space for the lyrics to breathe — especially if the message is emotional. Less is often more.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I usually write for pop, indie-pop, and acoustic-based ballads. I also love dreamy or melancholic tracks.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: My strongest skills are lyric writing and my voice. I have a soft, emotional vocal tone that fits well with vulnerable pop or indie-pop songs. I also write honest, heartfelt lyrics that express real emotions and connect with listeners on a personal level.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring emotional honesty, poetic but accessible lyrics, and a strong sense of storytelling. My words aim to speak directly to the listener’s heart.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I start by listening to the mood or melody if available, then write lyrics that match the emotional tone. I often revise lines to make sure they feel honest and authentic.

  37. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  38. A: I’m inspired by artists like SHY Martin, Astrid S, , and Gracie Abrams. I admire how they express raw emotion through simple yet powerful lyrics and melodies.

  39. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  40. A: I mostly write lyrics with emotional, relatable themes for pop and indie-pop songs. My focus is on storytelling that connects deeply with listeners.
