Interview with Thomas The Third

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: One project that I'm specifically proud of was not only making a Podcast theme song, but actually turning that theme song into an entire song! I was the producer, editor, songwriter, and composer for the Podcast and Music.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on personal songs that I can't wait to release.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I heard about SoundBetter from Breana Marin, on YouTube, and I would highly recommend her!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: This is tough! If I had to pick (which I personally love both), I'm starting to love Digital! The reason being is that you can record everything Digitally now, which works in the favor of being mobile! So I don't have to have a whole soundboard with me to record, if I need to leave home and be away for a trip. I can just take my mic and laptop, and still get the job done, wherever I am!

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My "promise" to you is that you will receive EXACTLY what you asked for, with a style of creativity that will keep satisfied!

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I love being creative!

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Most questions I get is "How long will it take?" I tend to give them a 2 week deadline; however, I majority of the time, finish before that deadline.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The misconception about what I do is that I won't listen to how you feel.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I typically ask questions of clarity, to get an understanding. I also ask questions about deadline, because I firmly believe the Customer should receive exactly what they asked .

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: If you hire me, please be as open and creative as you want to be! As it's an honor to serve you, I'm willing to make sure you receive everything you asked.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: If I only had 5 pieces of gear to take to a desert island, it would be in this exact order: 1. My Guitar 2. My Laptop 3. My Mic 4. My Headphones 5. My Adapter(s)

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: If I had a music production tip it would be, be very cautious where and how you record. It doesn't matter if you have the greatest lyrics and the greatest instrumentals. If no one can make sense from what you're saying, or your quality doesn't match with others in the same category, you have failed. More importantly, you've just wasted everyone's time, including your own.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I typically work on acoustic cover songs, and raps.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: If I'm honest, I'm not quite sure what my strongest skill. If I can speak without any bias, my Songwriting, Singing, Rapping, and Creativity creating a Track are simply not of this world! to me, it feels Divine, so all my skills feel equally strong!
