Won 1st place prize for the omega PSI Phi fraternity Inc performing with an original song.
I can offer a fully written song with chords, lead vocal melody and back ground vocals. If you need only background vocals for your existing track I can offer that as well. I've been writing and producing songs for about 7 years and I would love to become apart of your creation process!

Interview with Monei Santana
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Leiz sang the song I wrote called, "your not loosing anything" and I especially loved it because I was able to write and record all the back ground vocals and write the entire song.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A project with leizproductions. He's got a few singles he's trying to put out.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No.
Q: Analog or digital and why?

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to give you a high quality product that suites your needs.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Expressing my emotions, my hurt and pain through songs and finding people who's lives were changed by it.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: They ask why I don't record myself more often and make my own songs. I tell them I'm still trying to figure out how I can make a living as a full time Music Artist.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think that I only write songs but I can also make beats.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your vision, and how do I play a part in it.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't overthink. Not every song is going to be a hit! If you like it that's all that matters.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An axe, some rope, a fish net, a magnifying glass and a girl friend.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started creating beats then it turned into singing and writing songs. Eventually I started recording myself and have been doing all three for about 6-7 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Honest, real, and genuine.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with kehlani because her voice is so clear and melodic and a lot of her songs tend to be simple.

A: Always have a second ear but don't take everything to heart.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, and Today's Rnb.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Attention to detail. I can hear every note if it's in key or not.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Very soulful and melodic melodies with relatable words that carry a deep meaning while still sounding creative and current.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Writing down the vision first is essential. From there we can establish times frames and then create the finished product.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a home studio treated to get clear and professional vocals, mixing and mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Chris brown and Kehlani inspire me the most because of their melodic and soulful voices that is still relevant to todays Pop and Rnb.
